Privacy Policy

RingPage builds websites and answers phones for local businesses. We try to hold ourselves to the same standard we sell: pick up, be straight with people, don't waste their time. This policy says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it — in plain English.
What we collect
- What you send us.If you submit our contact form, we store the details you typed: your name, business name, phone number, email, and any message. We use them to call you back and set up your service — that's the whole reason.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, request time, page requested) for security and debugging.
- Anonymous usage statistics.When enabled, we use Plausible — a privacy-first analytics tool — to count page views and see which sections work. It uses no cookies and collects no personal identifiers; we can't see who you are, only that someone visited.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. Not to anyone, not ever.
- We don't run cross-site tracking or advertising pixels.
- We don't send marketing email you didn't ask for.
Why we're allowed to process it
In GDPR terms: we process form submissions to take steps you requested before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Aggregate, cookieless analytics rests on legitimate interest in understanding our own website.
Who touches the data
A short list of processors helps us run: our hosting provider (site and form processing), our email provider (lead notifications), and Plausible (aggregate analytics), each bound by their own data-processing terms. We share data beyond that only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Lead details: until we've resolved your inquiry, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact — or immediately on request. Server logs rotate on our host's standard schedule.
Your rights
Wherever you live — and specifically under GDPR and the CCPA — you can ask us to: show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, hand it over in a portable format, or stop processing it. Email [email protected]and a human will handle it within 30 days. We don't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Cookies and local storage
We set one value in your browser's local storage to remember that you dismissed our privacy notice. That's the complete list — there are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
Our service is for business owners and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data; if you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't quietly weaken it.
